Dr. Ornish is well known in the North Dallas community as a warm and caring professional who delivers outstanding treatment. He works closely with general dentists and other dental specialists to achieve exceptional treatment results.

Dr. Ornish has been in the exclusive practice of orthodontics since 1965. He attended Rice University and Southern Methodist University for his undergraduate education. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor University College of Dentistry in Dallas and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary society. After serving in the United States Air force, where he practiced general dentistry, Dr. Ornish completed his residency at the University Of Illinois College Of Dentistry earning a Master of Science in Orthodontics.

He is actively involved in many professional and community activities. Dr. Ornish has taught at Baylor College of Dentistry in the orthodontic department and served on the board of directors of the Dallas County Dental society and the board of Directors of the Wednesday’s Child Benefit Corporation. He is also one of the founders and a past president of the Greater Dallas Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Ornish is a life member of the Dallas County Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Dallas Association of Orthodontists, the Texas Association of Orthodontists, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists.

He and his wife Sharon are natives of Dallas Texas, along with their two daughters, the late Cindy Ornish and Andrea Ornish Berman. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, and spending time with his two lovely grandchildren, Ryan and Peyton Berman.
